Gsoc recommends disciplinary action after investigation into cyclist’s death

The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (Gsoc) has recommended disciplinary action be taken against three gardaí following an investigation into the death of cyclist Shane O’Farrell, the Minister for Justice has told the Seanad. Charlie Flanagan said he was informed at the end of January that the Gsoc disciplinary investigation had been completed, and that a report had been sent to Garda Commissioner Drew Harris recommending “certain actions”.
